About 18,000 real estate transactions made in Armenia in May
YEREVAN, June 27. /ARKA/. Some 17,980 real estate transactions were made in Armenia in May, a 26.3% increase from the same period last year, the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre said.
The number of transactions if compared with April 2014 dropped by 3.7 %, it said. The largest number of transactions was recorded in Yerevan - 33.1 % of the total number, and the lowest number, 1.6%, in Vayots Dzor region.
Kotayk region of the country accounted for 16.8% of total number of transactions, Armavir – for 9.1%, Ararat – for 8.7%, Lori – for 7.6%, Gegharkunik – for 5.4% Shirak – for 4.7%, Aragatsotn – for 5.0%, Syunik – for 4.4% and in Tavush – for 3.6%.
According to the state cadastre, some 25.8 % of transactions were home sales and purchases, 10.6% were primary registration of new-built homes.
Apart from this, 9.3% of the total number of registered transactions was on inheritance, 10.8 % was mortgage, 3.6% lease transactions and 39.9% was other state registration.
No home privatization transaction was registered in May, according to the report. –0—
