Almost 45,000 real estate transactions registered in Armenia in 1st q 2014

YEREVAN, May 5. /ARKA/. Some 44,931 real estate transactions were registered in Armenia in the 1st Q 2014 – 10.1% year-on-year growth and 15.3% quarter-on-quarter decline, the Armenian State Real Estate Cadastre reports. 

The biggest number of deals was recorded in Yerevan – 34.7% of the total number of transactions in the country, and the smallest number in Vayots Dzor province – 2.3%. 

Kotayk province accounted for 13.1% of the total number of transactions, Armavir for 8.4%, Ararat for 7.9%, Gegharkunik for 7.2%, Lori for 7.1%, Shirak for 5.9%, Aragatsotn for 5.6%, Syunik for 5.1% and Tavush for 3.7%. 

According to the report, immovable property alienation transactions made up 25.1% of all the transactions registered in the 1st Q 2014, primary registrations 10.7%, heritage transactions 10.9%, mortgage deals 12.2%, leasing 4.7% and other registrations 36.4%.   

No immovable property privatization transactions were registered in the country in the 1st Q 2014. -0----
