YEREVAN, July 13. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Food Safety Inspection Authority has lifted the ban on import of poultry meat from China.

The ban was lifted July 12 on import of live birds, all kinds of poultry meat products, trade and hatching eggs, meat and bone meal, feeds, mixed fodder, polymer and cardboard boxes and inserts.

The restrictions were lifted based on information published on the official website of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH).

The regulator's press service told ARKA news agency that the ban had been in effect since January 2015, when the restrictions had been imposed because of the "bird flu." -0-
