Armenia's agricultural output drops by 4.3 percent

Armenia's agricultural output as well as the output of local fish farms dropped by 4.3 percent in the first nine months of 2019 year-on-year to about 600 billion drams, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.
YEREVAN, November 6. /ARKA/. Armenia's agricultural output as well as the output of local fish farms dropped by 4.3 percent in the first nine months of 2019 year-on-year to about 600 billion drams, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.
It said the agricultural output fell by 4.8% to 574.429 billion drams, while fish farms' output grew by 7.7% to about 25.5 billion drams.
According to statistical data, the livestock sector fell by 2.2% to 250.8 billion drams , while crop production decreased by 7% to 323. 650 billion drams. ($ 1 - 476.57 drams). -0-
