YEREVAN, June 2. / ARKA /. Chief of Armenia’s State Food Safety Service has ordered Tamara company to stop production of several types of foods.
A press release of the agency specified that the banned products are two kinds of ice cream – Ksan Kopek and Carmen and a sour cream. The ban comes after an inspection at the enterprise that revealed products dangerous to public health.
‘A laboratory examination conducted by the National Center of Veterinary, Sanitary and Phytosanitary Services has revealed that some of the dairy products do not meet the requirements established by the government,’ the press release said.
It said the company was ordered to eliminate the revealed violations.
Tamara LLC founded in 1988 specializes in the production of dairy products and confectionery. The company sells its products in Armenia, Russia and the United States.
It produces about 90 kinds of ice cream, 30 kinds of confectionery products and 15 kinds of dairy products. -0 -
