The Armenian government approved today the signing of an agreement "On economic, scientific and technical cooperation with the Philippine Republic" and an agreement on "Promotion of investments between Armenia and New Zealand and protection of mutual interests."

YEREVAN, August 16. /ARKA/. The Armenian government approved today the signing of an agreement "On economic, scientific and technical cooperation with the Philippine Republic" and an agreement on "Promotion of investments between Armenia and New Zealand and protection of mutual interests."

According to deputy minister of economy, Ara Petrosyan, the agreements are aimed at promoting trade and economic relations and investment with these countries.

"The framework agreement (with New Zealand) provides for the creation of equal conditions for both local and foreign investors in order to encourage mutual investments," he said. -0-
