Armenian wine to produce champagne wines
YEREVAN, July 30. /ARKA/. Armenia Wine company plans to produce sparkling wines, the general consultant of the company Jean-Baptiste Soulat said Saturday at the press conference.
“Demand for champagne wines grows worldwide day by day, and I don’t see any reasons why Armenia couldn’t develop this production too,” Soulat said.
According to him, the Armenian consumers will have more demand for this product as the company sets that production.
On his side, Armenian Wine Executive Director Artur Harutyunyan noted the company is now purchasing the necessary technology, however, refraining from giving information on the production volume.
“Of course, we have our preliminary calculations, but we won’t reveal them as of now,” he said.
