YEREVAN, February 27. / ARKA /. The Armenian government has awarded today VAT payment deferment to EcoTomato and Bio Group companies until 2017 February as both pledged to import over 300 million drams worth equipment.
The deferment is awarded to companies which import more than 300 million drams worth modern equipment or technology to expand their output and modernize production facilities.
Ecotomato, founded in 2011 is engaged in growing Dutch roses in a two- hectare greenhouse, however, due to the growing demand for flowers both at home and abroad, the company decided to build a second greenhouse on an area of 3 hectares .
Bio Group, founded in 2013 is engaged in the cultivation of cucumbers and tomatoes in a large greenhouse using advanced Dutch technologies Dutch. It is expected to produces annually about 700 million drams produces. The bulk will be exported to Russia, Georgia and the UAE. -0-
