Toyota Motor has started delivering Russia-assembled Toyota cars to Armenia, Izvestia reports with reference to the company's press release.
YEREVAN, May 27. /ARKA/. Toyota Motor has started delivering Russia-assembled Toyota cars to Armenia, Izvestia reports with reference to the company's press release.
It is noted that Armenia will become the third international market for the company’s exports after Belarus and Kazakhstan.
By the end of 2020, it is planned to export about 450 Camry and RAV4 vehicles assembled at the plant in St. Petersburg to Armenia. Previously, these models were shipped to the country from Japan.
The change in the country of origin for the Armenian market allowed reducing local prices for Toyota Camry and RAV4 by 10%. --0--
