Three garment factories open in Armenia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Parliament Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan and other officials attended today the opening of garments factories Sartex, Alex Textile and Asa Garment in Yerevan.
YEREVAN, November 1. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Parliament Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan and other officials attended today the opening of garments factories Sartex, Alex Textile and Asa Garment in Yerevan.
The head of Alex Textile and Asa Garment, Marat Movsesyan, said the factories will hire soon as many as 3 thousand workers, up from the current one thousand. He said the products - jackets, leather and knitted clothes - will be exported to European countries and Russia.
The Sartex company was created in collaboration with Alex Textile and Italian Sarti, which manufactures clothes of famous brands MaxMara, Moncler, Peuterey, Dolce & Gabana, Dainese.
Alex Textile also collaborates with major Chinese outerwear companies. The entire range of products will be exported abroad.
Movsesyan also said that in 2020 spring a factory for the production of towels and home textiles with 1,500 jobs will be opened in the town of Artashat. -0-
