YEREVAN, July 10. /ARKA/. Uruguay may become a gateway for Armenia to other South America countries’ markets, Uruguay Vice President Danilo Astori said Thursday as met with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan, who has traveled to Uruguay as part of his seven-day South-American tour.
Sargsyan invited Astori to Armenia, and the latter accepted the invitation expressing wish to see the homeland of his friends.
The Armenian president visited Hayastan Square in Montevideo and commemorated victims of Armenian Genocide.
Sargsyan was in Argentina from July 6 to 8. He is set to be in Uruguay from July 8 to 10 and in Chile from July 10 to 12. -0---
