About 19,000 real estate transactions made in Armenia in April
YEREVAN, May 30. /ARKA/. Some 18,678 real estate transactions were made in Armenia in April, an 18% increase from the same period last year, the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre said.
The number of transactions if compared with March 2014 increased by 3.9 %, it said. The largest number of transactions was recorded in Yerevan - 33.4 % of the total number, and the lowest number, 1.6%, in Vayots Dzor region.
Kotayk region of the country accounted for 16.5% of total number of transactions, Armavir – for 8.8%, Ararat – for 8.4%, Lori – for 6.6%, Gegharkunik – for 6.5% Shirak – for 5.1%, Aragatsotn – for 5.0%, Syunik – for 3.9% and in Tavush – for 4.2%.
According to the state cadastre, some 23.6 % of transactions were home sales and purchases, 10.7% were primary registration of new-built homes.
Apart from this, 8.7% of the total number of registered transactions was on inheritance, 13.1 % was mortgage, 3.7% lease transactions and 40.2% was other state registration.
No home privatization transaction was registered in April, according to the report. –0—
