About 30% of Armenia’s heavy equipment is from Belarus

YEREVAN, December 19. /ARKA/. About 30% of heavy equipment used in Armenia is supplied from Belarus, Belarusian ambassador to Armenia Stepan Sukharenko told reporters Wednesday.

Sukharenko said the local dealer of Belarusian BelAZ, BelAZ Kavkaz Trans Service company, is engaged not only in supplies, but also opened a service center in Armenia in 2010.

The ambassador stressed the need for better marketing as often potential clients prefer more expensive equipment from the competitors due to insufficient marketing efforts of the Belarusian company.

“That is how psychology works. From a child to an adult, everyone is attracted to a good packaging, even if the quality of the other product is better”, Sukharenko said. –0--
