Ara Hovsepian dismissed as chief executive of North-South project

Armenia’s acting transport and communications minister Gagik Beglaryan has dismissed Ara Hovsepian, the executive director of the state non-profit organization overseeing the construction of the North-South transport corridor, the ministry said.

Before a new director is chosen through a competition the position will be held by Arthur Sarkisian.
Hovsepian was appointed as executive director on November 30, 2011. He previously was the chief executive officer of the Millennium Challenge Account – Armenia program that expired in September 2011. -0-
