Armenia government aware of its shortcomings trying to fix them: PM
YEREVAN, February 6. / ARKA /. In response to a harsh criticism of the government by Zaruhi Postanjian, a lawmaker from the opposition Zharangutyun (Heritage) party who accused the president that his words swerve from his actions, prime minister Tigran Sargsyan admitted that the government has many shortcomings, which it is trying to fix.
"We realize that there is a lot of negative phenomena in our life. The government is not free of them either and our citizens point them out . We, in turn, try to fix these deficiencies. It helps the society move forward. As for you, you should try to be objective, one should not make statements that lead to nowhere, " the prime minister said at a parliament Q&A session.
"The president's words are correct and one should not be throwing dirt on them; that will not raise your popularity rating. The president’s words are the guidelines for our citizens, " the premiere said. -0-
