Armenia has not yet received its share of customs duties from Eurasian Economic Union's common budget
YEREVAN, May 18. /ARKA/. Armenia has not yet received its share of customs duties from the Eurasian Economic Union's (EEU) common budget, the head of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan told reporters on Wednesday.
He said the transfer of the customs duties has been delayed because of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
Badasyan said also that the final amount of Armenia's share for March and April of this year is still unclear since the flow of customs duties into the "common pot" of EEU has dropped due to various economic situations. According to his estimations, the share of Armenia is about 10bln AMD.
Earlier, the Armenian parliament ratified the protocol on the application of certain provisions of the treaty on the accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, which provides for changes in the shares of customs duties to be distributed among EEU member countries.
The EEU is an international economic integration association comprising Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. ($1 - 457.49 drams). -0-
