YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed today Armenia’s intention to join the Customs Union and to take part in the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union, RIA Novosti reports.
“Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan unveiled his country’s decision to join the Customs Union and to take necessary practical steps in this direction,” the news agency cited the joint statement the two presidents made upon completing their talks in Moscow.
The Russian leader pledged support to Armenia in this process. ---0----
