Armenia joins Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils

YEREVAN, March 1. /ARKA/. National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia and the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) signed a memorandum of understanding in Washington Thursday. Under the memorandum, National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia became member of the GFCC, the press service of the Foundation reported.

The document was signed by executive director of the Foundation Arman Khachatryan and the GFCC executive director William Bates.

Under the memorandum, the sides are to establish strategic partnership to promote economic growth and develop efficient policies of global 
competitiveness and innovative partnership, as well as innovation-based scientific cooperation and growth.

The GFCC is a non-governmental organization uniting competitiveness councils of different countries, including the USA, Brazil, Japan, Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia is a government/private sector cooperation organization. The Foundation aims at enhancing the national competitiveness through breakthrough in key economic sectors. For this the Foundation attracts strategic investments to implement important projects in Armenia. -0-
