The Armenian government expects next year an annual inflation rate of 4% (± 1.5%). This figure is projected by the draft budget, which the government discussed today.
According to the 2014 draft budget, posted on the official website of the government, the Central Bank of Armenia is tasked to be guided by 4.0 + /- 1.5 inflation band "when making decisions on monetary policy in 2014.’
The government’s inflation projection for this year is 4% (± 1.5%). According to the National Statistical Service, inflation in January-August 2013 rose by 5.3 percent compared to the same period in 2012. -0-
