YEREVAN, June 9. / ARKA /. Armenia’s gross agricultural product in current prices increased by 4.1 percent in the first four months from the same time span of 2013 to about 111.3 billion drams, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said today.
Together with fish production the agricultural output was 5.2 percent higher year-on-year worth about 121.8 billion drams, the NSS said.
Livestock production in January-April was said to have amounted to about 98.5 billion drams, having increased by 4.9 percent from the same period in 2013, crop production grew by about 5 percent to more than 12.8 billion drams, while fish production surged by 20 percent to about 10.5 billion drams.
Fish production in the first four months was about 921.7 tons, an increase of 28.5 percent when compared to the same time span of 2013. ($ 1 - 413.08 drams). -0-
