Armenia’s brandy output built up 9.6% to in 2013

YEREVAN, January 31. /ARKA/. Brandy output in Armenia grew 9.6% in 2013, compared with 2012, to 20.3 million liters, the National Statistical Service reports. 

The country’s wine output grew as well – 12.3% to 6.4 million liters, while vodka output shrank 1.5% to 9.9 million. 

Some 536,400 liters of champagne and 19.8 million liters of beer were produced in 2013 – 12% and 45.2% year-on-year growth respectively. 

Soft drink output was built up 36.2% to 61.7 million liters. -0---
