Armenia’s cognac production fell by 4.6% to 4,735,900 liters in January-April

YEREVAN, May 31. /ARKA/. Armenia’s cognac production decreased by 4.6% to a total of 4,735,900 liters in January-April 2014, compared to the same period the year before, ArmStat reported.

Wine production dropped by 8.7% to 1,546,500 liters in the reporting period.

Vodka production rose by 13.6% to 2,831,400 liters.

A total of 91,900 litres of champagne was produced in the period, a 32.2% increase against January-April 2013.

Beer production totaled 5,352,300 litres, which is a 78% increase.

A total of 16,422,700 litres of non-alcoholic beverages was manufactured in the period, an increase of 39.1% compared to January-April 2013. –0--
