Armenia’s cognac production fell by 5% to 3,481,900 liters in January-March

YEREVAN, April 30. /ARKA/. Cognac production dropped by 5% to 3,481,000 liters in Armenia in January-March this year compared to the same period of 2013, ArmStat reported.

Wine production fell by 7.3% to 1,092,800 liters in the reporting period.

Production of vodka reduced by 2.4% to 1,950,700 liters.

A total of 71,000 litres of champagne was produced in the period, an increase of 20.1% against January-March 2013.

Beer production doubled to 3,377,700 liters in the period.

A total of 11,432,200 litres of non-alcoholic beverages was manufactured in the period, an increase of 33.9% compared to January-March 2013. –0--
