YEREVAN, September 30. /ARKA/. Armenia’s cognac production rose by 3.6% to a total of 11,151,200 liters in January-August 2013, compared to the same period the year before, ArmStat reported.
Wine production rose by 32.8% to 3,449,600 liters in the reporting period.
Vodka production dropped by 15% to 5,498,700 liters in January-August.
A total of 172,400 litres of champagne was produced in the period, an 86.6% increase against January-August 2012.
Beer production totaled 12,772,000 litres, which is a 31.3% increase.
A total of 34,694,300 litres of non-alcoholic beverages was manufactured in the period, an increase of 37.7% compared to January-August the year before.–0--
