YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. Armenia’s cognac production rose by 9.8% to a total of 18 million liters in January-November 2013, compared to the same period the year before, ArmStat reported.
Wine production rose by 22.3% to 5.6 million liters in the reporting period.
Vodka production grew by 2.1% to 8.9 liters in January-November.
A total of 401,200 litres of champagne was produced in the period, a 20.9% increase against January-November 2012.
Beer production totaled 18.66 million litres, which is a 42.2% increase.
A total of 53.1 million litres of non-alcoholic beverages was manufactured in the period, an increase of 36.5% compared to January-November the year before.–0--
