Armenia’s cognac production shrank 11.1% to 5,542,700 liters in January-May
YEREVAN, June 30. /ARKA/. Armenia’s cognac production dropped by 11.1% to a total of 5,542,700 liters in January-May, compared to the same period the year before, ArmStat reported.
Wine production dropped by 2.8% to 1,966,600 liters in the reporting period.
Vodka production grew by 17.4% to 3,752,500 liters in January-May.
A total of 115,500 liters of champagne was produced in the period, an 18.7% increase against January-May 2012.
Beer production totaled 8,254,200 litres, which is an 81.6% increase.
A total of 22,917,500 litres of non-alcoholic beverages was manufactured in the period, an increase of 47.5% compared to January-May the year before. –0--
