Armenia’s construction output hikes to 39.8bln drams in the first quarter
YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. Armenia’s construction output amounted to 39.8 billion drams in January-march, an increase of 0.7% compared to the same period of the year before, ArmStat reported.
Population-paid construction amounted to 11.1 billion drams or 27.9% of the overall construction volume (increase of 6.5%).
Construction works paid for by organizations amounted to 21.2 billion drams, which is 53.4% of the overall volume (14.2% increase). Construction paid from humanitarian aid was 771.9mln drams or 1.9% (28.7% reduction). State-funded construction and community-funded construction were 4.4bln drams or 11.1% (11.4% reduction) and 484.7mln drams or 1.2% (19.5% reduction) respectively.
Construction works paid for from international loans amounted to about 1.78 billion drams or 4.5% (25.4% reduction), including 687mln from the WB, 646.3mln drams from the EBRD, 115.8mln drams from the Asian Development Bank, 37mln drams from German KfW and 294.2mln drams from others.
