Armenia’s domestic trade grows 5.7% to AMD 115.6 billion in January 2013
YEREVAN, February 28. /ARKA/. Armenia’s domestic trade turnover grew 5.7% in January 2013, compared with the previous year’s January, to AMD 115.6 billion, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
Retail trade amounted to AMD 78.1 billion (5.1% year-on-year growth) and made up 67.6% of the total domestic trade turnover.
According to the statistical report, wholesale trade amounted to AMD 33.5 billion and made up 29% of the country’s domestic trade.
Trade in shops totaled AMD 52.1 billion and constituted 66.6% of the retail trade, and that in markets AMD 5.6 billion and 7.2% respectively. ($1 – AMD 409.02). -0-
