Armenia’s domestic trade rose to 449.8 billion drams in Q1
YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. Armenia’s domestic trade amounted to over 449.8 billion drams in January-March this year, which is a 4.5 % increase compared to Q1 2013, ArmStat reported.
The retail trade alone accounted for 61.7 % or about 277.4 billion drams of the total domestic trade in the period, an increase of 1.6% compared to January-March 2013.
The rest -34.8% -or about 156.7 billion drams- were generated by wholesale trade.
According to statistics, a significant portion of retail trade- 69.2% or 192.1 billion drams – were generated by food and other stores.
Another 5.8 percent or 16.2 billion drams were generated by consumer goods markets ($1 - 413.35 drams). –0--
