YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. Armenia’s domestic trade turnover amounted to AMD 2,331.1 billion in 2013 (1.2% year-on-year growth), ArmStat reported.
Retail trade amounted to AMD 1,454.7 billion and accounted for 62.4% of the trade turnover inside the country in the reporting year, a 1% increase against 2012.
Shop trading alone was about AMD 1,026.3bln (70.6% of the overall retail trade volume); trade turnover amounted to AMD 101.1bln in consumer goods markets (7.0%), AMD 19.6bln in agricultural markets (1.3%), AMD 32.7bln at stands (2.2%) and AMD 274.9bln in other sales points (18.9%).
Wholesale trade amounted to AMD 792.3 billion, which is 34% of the total trade turnover (3.2% increase). Car sales were AMD 84.2bln or 3.6% (11.8% reduction). ($1=411.49drams). —0-
