YEREVAN, July 21. / ARKA /. Armenia’s foreign trade in the first six months of 2014 saw a one percent rise from the year earlier amounting to about $2.723 billion, according to the latest numbers, released today by the National Statistical Service.
According to the NSS, Armenian exports increased by 0.8 percent year-on-year to $706.2 million, while imports also increased by 1.1 percent to $2.016.8 billion.
The resulting trade deficit in January-June this year was $1.310.6 billion 1 ($ 1 - 406.62 drams). -0 -
