Armenia’s foreign trade in five months grows 2.3 percent to $2.278 billion

YEREVAN, June 20. / ARKA /. Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in January-May 2014 increased by 2.3 percent if compared with the same period in 2013 to $2.278.9 billion, according to the latest numbers, released today by the National Statistical Service (NSS).

According to the NSS, exports grew by 3.2 percent to $580 million, while imports increased by approximately 2 percent to $1.7 billion. 

The resulting trade deficit was $1.118.9 billion ($1 - 409.9 drams). ($1 – 409.9 drams). -0—
