Armenia’s freight traffic grows 4.3% to 9,168,500 tons in Jan-Nov 2012

YEREVAN, January 8. /ARKA/. Armenia’s freight traffic for Jan-Nov 2012 totaled 9,168,500 tons – 4.3% year-on-year growth, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

According to the statistical report, motor vehicles carried 4,437,100 tons or 48.4% of the cargoes transported over the mentioned period, trains carried 3,153,900 tons or 34.4% and aircrafts 10,800 tons or 0.1%. Some 1,566,700 tons (17.1%) were conveyed by pipes.
