YEREVAN, August 1. / ARKA /. Armenia’s industrial output in the first six months this year amounted to 579.3 billion drams, as much as in the first six months of 2013, the National Statistical Service said today.
The manufacturing industry accounted for about 63.6% of the total output, an increase of 2.9%, from the same time span of 2013, worth more than 368.7 billion drams. The mining sector slashed by 9.5% to 94.3 billion drams.
Supply of electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air in January-June this year amounted to 107.5 billion drams, a decrease of 1.4% year-on-year.
Supply of water, water purification, waste water treatment and recycling stood at 8.84 billion drams, having increased by 6% year-on-year. ($ 1 - 406.01 drams). -0 –
