YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. Armenia’s industrial output rose by 7.2% to 1,109.8 billion drams in January-November 2013, as compared to the same period of the year before, ArmStat reported.
According to the statistics, processing industries accounted for about 62.9% of the overall output and recorded an increase of 8.8% to approximately 699.1 billion drams in the reporting period.
Mining industry alone grew by 9.6% to about 182 billion drams in the period.
Energy, gas, steam and conditioned air supplies amounted to a total of 212.5 billion drams, a reduction of 0.2% compared to January-November 2012. Output in water supply, treatment and recycling totaled 16.3 billion drams, a 7.8% increase in the period. ($1=408.09drams). –0--
