Armenia’s inflation grows 4.6 percent in two months from the year before

YEREVAN, April 22. / ARKA /. In the first two months of 2014 the inflation in Armenia grew by 4.6 percent from January-March 2013, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said today.

Consumer prices in March this year fell by 0.4 percent when compared with the previous month.

According to the NSS, economic activity growth index in January- March 201 was 3.3 % compared with the same time span in 2013.

The government’s projection of inflation for 2014 is 4 % (± 1.5%).  GDP projection is 5.2 %. -0-
