Armenia’s international gross reserves shrink 12.5% to about $1.970 billion in 1st q 2014


YEREVAN, May 26. /ARKA/. Armenia’s international gross reserves totaled about $1.970 billion in the 1st Q 2014 after shrinking 12.5% since the beginning of the year, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.  

Armenia’s SDR in the International Monetary Fund amounted to $577,200 in late March against $1.9 million in the beginning of this year. 

According to the report, the country’s net external assets shrank 16.6% to $1.340.2 billion in late March 2014 and gross external assets totaled $1. 970 billion ($1- AMD 413.16). -0---
