Armenia’s jewelry production output dropped to 3.9bln drams in January-April
YEREVAN, June 13. /ARKA/. Jewelry production output fell by 40.6% to 3,857.5 million drams in January-April compared to the same period of the year before, ArmStat reported.
A total of 307.9 kilograms of jewelry was produced in the period, as compared to 319 kilograms in January-April 2013 (3.5% decrease).
Diamond production output totaled 21,031 carats, a decrease of 35%.
Exports of precious and semiprecious stones, precious metals and products amounted to $74.4 million in January-April (19.5% increase); imports were $118.5 million (49.7% increase). ($1- 411.75 drams). -0-
