Armenia’s market monitoring inspectorate finds jewelry sale violations

YEREVAN, December 9. /ARKA/. Market monitoring inspectorate of Armenia’s ministry of economy has revealed violations in jewelry sales, head of the inspectorate Levon Khalikyan told reporters Friday.

The largest penalty in 2013, 500,000 drams, was imposed on Vagharsh and Sons for numerous violations (labeling, scale testing, and etc.) and has been fully paid, Khalikyan said.

The gold market staff held protests occasionally near the government building for different reasons, and the country’s premiers instructed the market control inspectorate, the ministry of health, the ministry of emergencies and the state revenues committee to carry out complex check-ups in the Vagharshyan and Sons gold market. –0--
