YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. Armenia’s minister of environment Ara Harutiunyan will give explanations for disconnection of water supply at Araratcement factory soon, Armenia’s premier Tigran Sargsyan told reporters Wednesday.
According to an earlier report, technical water supply was disconnected for one day at Araratcement factory owned by businessman and the leader of Prosperous Armenia opposition party Gagik Tsarukyan. Members of the party blamed the authorities for reprisal against Tsarukyan who criticized the government at the 7th congress of the party.
The government was implementing the decree adopted at a presidential meeting in September 2013 to ensure efficient water management in Ararat Valley, and the ministry of environment received respective instructions, the premier said. –0—
