Armenia’s money supply rose by 0.8% to over 1,550.7 bln drams in April
YEREVAN, June 3. /ARKA/. Armenia’s money supply rose by 0.8% to more than 1,550.7billion drams as of the end of April against March, ArmStat reported based on preliminary information from the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA).
Cash outside the banking system amounted to over 335.1 billion drams as of the end of the reporting month, compared to about 328.6bln drams in late March. Call deposits (in drams) were 190.2bln drams, compared to about 181.8bln drams at the end of March.
Time deposits amounted to about 281.7 billion drams in the reporting period, against about 281bln drams in late March.
Deposits in foreign currency exceeded 743.7bln drams, compared to 747.7bln drams at the end of March.
Money multiplier was 2.05 at the end of April, an increase of 0.08 percentage points from March. ($1=413.49drams). –0--
