Armenia’s president visits construction sites in Tavush Marz

YEREVAN, April 7. /ARKA/. Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan visited Berd town during his visit to Tavush region Saturday.

The president saw construction works in Surb Gevorg church and visited a newly repaired kindergarten, according to the report. Sargsyan met with residents at the church construction site.

The president has also seen the construction and modernization works at the medical center of Berd.

The center is to accommodate 35 people. It includes out-patient and inpatient departments and emergency care. The construction is expected to finish in August this year, chief physician of the center Aram Harutiunyan told ARKA.

The money for construction and modernization, a total of 670 million drams, has been provided by the World Bank, he said. –0--
