YEREVAN, April 22. / ARKA /. Armenia’s acting minister of agriculture, Sergo Karapetyan, has left for France today at the invitation of his French counterpart Stephen Le Foll, the Armenian ministry reported.
It said ahead of French president, François Holland’s planned visit to Armenia in May, Karapetyan will discuss in Paris specific directions of cooperation in the field of agriculture between the two countries and will also sign a follow-up agreement on inter-state cooperation.
In France the Armenian minister will visit wineries, agricultural cooperatives, as well as the University of Wine. His itinerary includes also meetings with senior officials of the region Rhône-Alpes, the French Development Agency and the Union of Agricultural Employers.
"During the visit Armenian and French officials will outline possible directions of the Armenian- French cooperation in the field of agriculture, which may be included in the agenda of the meeting of the presidents of Armenia and France,”, the Armenian ministry said. -0-
