Armenian cognac tasted in British parliament

YEREVAN, December 11. /ARKA/. A wasting of Armenian “Ararat” cognac was held in the House of Commons of the British parliament, the press office of Armenian foreign ministry reported.

The tasting was arranged by Armenian embassy in United Kingdom and the deputy head of Armenian-British inter-parliament group John Whittingdale.

The tasting was supported by British offices of Tekeyan and New Generation unions, All-Armenian educational and cultural union, Vinorium company representing Ararat cognacs in Great Britain.

According to ArmStat, cognac production rose by 10.1% to 15.49 million litres in Armenia in January-October 2013, as compared to the same period of the year before.  –0--
