YEREVAN, April 30. /ARKA/. The government will present its new program to the National Assembly in May, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said on Wednesday.
He added that the new Cabinet will prefer deeds, not words. “This program will be laconic – it is better to think about business, not words,” he said. «If we write much, but do little, we will deserve condemnation, but if we do the opposite, we may earn you praising,» the new premier said in his first speech in the Parliament after his appointment.
He also said he had instructed the Cabinet to be polite in working with MPs.
«The same we expect from our lawmakers,» Abrahamyan said.
On April 13, President Serzh Sargsyan appointed National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to the prime-ministerial post, which became vacant after the previous premier, Tigran Sargsyan, resigned on April 3.
In accordance with the Constitution, the new Cabinet must be composed no later than in 20 days after the appointment of a new prime minister. -0----
