Armenian parliament passes bill to amend law on taxes

YEREVAN, March 26. / ARKA /. The National Assembly of Armenia has passed today in first reading a bill to amend the Law “On Taxes".

The bill provides that all new laws designed to increase the size of a tax or introduce a new type of a tax can enter into force only from the beginning of the fiscal year following the adoption of these laws.

The bill was backed by 102 deputies, one abstained.

If the state budget for next year is not adopted before the end of current year, laws that increase the size of a tax or introduce a new type of tax may come into force from the date of entry into force of the law on 

the state budget, but not earlier than the beginning of the sixth month after the official publication of these laws. - 0 -
