Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received on Tuesday deputy chairman of board of Russian Gazprom Valery Golubev to discuss expansion of partnership, the government press service reported.

YEREVAN, January 27. / ARKA /. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received on Tuesday deputy chairman of board of Russian Gazprom Valery Golubev to discuss expansion of partnership, the government press service reported.

The two men were said to have discussed bilateral cooperation in the energy sector and some other issues related to the activity of Gazprom in Armenia. Abrahamyan and Golubev spoke also about Gazprom’s investment projects in Armenia.

The two men were said also to have praised the current level of the Armenian-Russian cooperation in the energy sector and the role of Gazprom in its  deepening.

Gazprom Armenia, 100% owned by Russian Gazprom, deals with gas supplies to Armenia. The company is also engaged in transportation, storage, distribution and sale of natural gas, reconstruction and expansion of the gas transmission system and underground gas storage facilities.-0-
