YEREVAN, December 17. / ARKA /. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan had a meeting today with a delegation led by the head of the Armenian Mission at the International Monetary Fund Mark Horton to discuss prospects of further cooperation.
In this context, the sides spoke on the main directions of Armenia’s economic policy, the government said.
On July 2 the IMF executive board completed its sixth and final check-up of Armenia’s performance under the Extended Financing Facility (EFF) and the EFC.
As a result, an additional of $84 million (55mln SDR) will be provided to the country. Total payments under the agreements will amount to $407.2 million (266.8mln SDR). -0-
