YEREVAN, March 14. / ARKA /. Armenian territorial administration minister Armen Gevorgyan has left today for Moscow to attend a regular meeting of the CIS Economic Council, whose agenda has more than a dozen issues relating to economic cooperation between former Soviet republics in various fields.
In particular, it will discuss an agreement on securing transport safety of the CIS member countries, a set of draft amendments to the agreement on the rules of origin of goods in the CIS.
The participants will hear reports on the implementation of the interstate program of innovation cooperation between CIS countries in 2013 and on measures for implementation of this program in 2014. They will also look into application of international audit standards in the CIS.
Gevorgyan will also participate in an international economic conference on CIS and new forms of cooperation.
The conference will in particular discuss the implementation of the Interstate program of innovation cooperation between CIS countries and the agreement on free trade zone, development of tourism, as well as new mechanisms for the development of integration processes . -0-
