YEREVAN, February 10. /ARKA/. Six Armenian wineries will showcase their wines at the 21st international food and drink exhibition, Prodexpo-2014, in Moscow on february 10-14, the press office of Armenian Development Agency reported.
The pavilion entitled “Armenian Wines” will bring together Semina Consulting, Mancho Group, Mets Siunik, Maran, Hin Areni and Anush wine-making companies. The wines on display will include Armavir Vineyard, Astafyan, Matevosyan Wine, Maran and other brands.
Participation of the Armenian wine-makers in the exhibition is sponsored by Armenian Development Agency and Industrial Development Fund of Armenia as part of the wine production support strategy.
Prodexpo is a major exhibition in Russia and Eastern Europe. A total of 2,300 participants from 63 countries are expected to participate in the expo this year.
According to ArmStat, wine production rose by 12.3% to 6.4 million liters in Armenia over 2013. –0—
